Sea Chest Oyster Bar and Seafood Restaurant

Sea Chest Oyster Bar and Seafood Restaurant

If seafood is what you’re after, then the Sea Chest should absolutely make your short list. The Sea Chest is one of the very few Cambria restaurants along Moonstone Beach Drive with some tables that look out toward the Pacific Ocean. It’s nearly always busy and the fact that they don’t accept reservations means you’ll want to plan ahead. Thanks to some of the best seafood around and an awesome vibe, the restaurant is constantly packed with lines out the door. The good news is that you can put your name down and stroll along the Moonstone Beach boardwalk to admire the beautiful rugged coastline while you wait.

The Sea Chest has been a popular choice for over 30 years and continues to satisfy the appetites of even the saltiest of sailors. Post up at the oyster bar and enjoy interacting with the chefs as they prepare your fare exhibition style or grab a table to sit down and enjoy a fresh seafood meal. The ambiance is low-key and fun with that seaside decor you’d expect from a restaurant named the Sea Chest. Note that the Sea Chest doesn’t accept credit cards!
